Quietdrive have been a local band since 2002, forming in the suburbs and gaining a following thereafter. After signing to Epic Records, then leaving Epic Records, then signing to the Militia Group, then leaving the Militia Group, Quietdrive is finally putting out their own music on their own label, Sneaker 2 Bombs. In today's music industry there really is no other way to go. Unless you are selling enough records like Gaga or Kayne to pay off your expense account you really have no business on a major label. Major labels are just a bunch of crap unless you are pulling the amount of money it takes to work the machine.
Quietdrive is releasing their new album on December 14th entitled, "Close Your Eyes." I think they will find things in their music life will run quite a bit smoother when they run things their way, it almost always does.
Varsity Theater tickets are on sale now for their Wednesday, December 29th show. Opening for Quietdrive will be All the Right Moves, My Lady Four, and Jamestown Story. Varsity Theater tickets will sell out for this show - Minneapolis loves Quietdrive!
